what would you suggest for next step?

I think the sky should be a another matrix.alien skin pass then the cows since they’re organic forms be half poly gons and last layer fiedls should be center lined with an 1/8″ along with horizon line and cow details…

here’s what i’m thinkging

this is instead of painting the sky you requested.  i’ll play with the remaining area to work up to polygons on cows and details

if this is ok let me know i’ll brb and fix the ngc

here’s what i came up with for a final…

it goes background (done)
background 2 (running)
black cows, scrub and horizon (thinking to change the black to a super deep violet?)
edge detection centerline

no layer has more than 24 colors

i’ll play with it some more but that’s where i’m at for now.

Super dk purple be good. Look great

needs four tubes black.  they all need to be pretty full.  i coded it for black in primary black, blue, orange, yellow.  i put white in red. primary white empty.

only other color is violet.  run with a stubby 1/4″ brush.  one color for the entire run.  looks a little crazy but i think it will work nicely once the final layer is in place with 1/8 brush.

Cows are done. over a million lines of code considering the do over?

what’s interesting to me on this on is how flat it looks — just like the photo. the ground in particular and a couple of the cows look photographically flat. i recall thinking that when i was working on the render and it hold true finished.

I love the horizon line and the sky. It was a flat image and that really holds true.
