In addition to needing to clean the paint engine, we found too much residual energy in the vinyl paint delivery lines. Once the paint was pressurized it didn't want to stop flowing due to gravity. So a measured pulse of paint would not stop at its desired volume... it would trickle additional paint ...
Note the vinyl tubes connecting the paint pots to the color engine. Testing the color engine... note the paint pots in the rack plastic pipe nipples, ported cap and ported cam locking cap. These pots are pressurized to deliver the paint to the engine. Testing color mixing --- many more pre/post test photos on record
